Title: yz 465 pipe size question

  hi , would a 250 pipe physicially fit a 465 , it,s just that the pipe that came with the bike is very fat ,(compared with my 490 pipe ) it fits nicely on the machine , any advice please ?

Nope, 250 pipe fits a 250G-H and a 465 pipe fits a 465 G-H, and so on, My 84 CR500 pipe is fairly narrow too and I think that a fatter pipe produces more bottom to mid range power something a 500cc two stroke probably has enough of without fattening up the pipe.
