Title: Sprite scrambler, location of frame number?
Post by: Sprite_500 on March 15, 2015, 11:32:47 pm
Hi all

Just bought a Sprite scrambler with a Triumph 500 engine. I'm considering registering it for road use in the UK, but to start that ball rolling I need the frame number. I've looked in the likely places (headstock, front downtubes) can't see anything obvious. Any suggestions regarding the likely location of the frame number would be appreciated!

The two I know of do not have any numbers either, suggesting that was indeed the norm.  Maybe a riveted plate?

No number found, and I don't want to take any more paint off!
