Title: Yet another newbie

G'day all,
Just about to get into a spot of VMX, been meaning to for the last 25 years, so I guess it's time.
haven't actually owned a dirt bike for about the same length of time....which is a tad sad. But I do ride a shiny old '70's 900 if that counts for anything, bit heavy off road though. ::)

So I hope to learn a few more things here, in particular I'd like some thoughts on setting up a '73 XL250 as a "racer" ......had a lot of XL's in the old days and just can't help myself.

welcome aboard mx?, a mate has a xl250 ko, great dirt track bike, dont know how it would go on the mx tracks though, cheers elsie 125
