-
Who are those people in the photos, please? Mr Bulto in background, yep?
-
Guy on the left in the first pic looks a little like Nikki Lauda ???

Ginger Molloy was the kiwi road racer ( vice world champ ) still peddles one around quickly in classic events .

Clay Regazzoni on the right in the Lauda pic.
Molloy also won the 1966 Ulster 250 GP on a Bullie, and finished third behind Read and Ivy on the V4 Yamahas in the 1968 125 title.
-
Right. The list of Maico riders who won World Championships.
Graham Noyce
Neil Hudson
Barry Sheen (ask Bill)
Maico riders who won GPs
Gerrit Wolsink
Ake Johnson
Please note no one said they had to win them on a Maico. The Japanese usually bought riders as soon as they started to get good.
-
Bully won world titles in Trials and road racing....Maico won nothing.....haha.....your biting early today Kev, must have been as soon as you got home from here....lol.
-
Looks like John Newcome on the left.

Your list of GP winners is a little short.

I'm fighting back with a list of gentlemen in the art of trials.
SAMMY MILLER,MALCOLM RATHMELL, BERNIE SCHREIBER, YRJO VESTERINEN, MARTIN LAMPKIN.
Pomeroy, Molloy in mx.
Bert Flood, Gary Flood.
The abuse can start now.

That picture would have been more than likely taken on the Bulto estate,
That is

Australian Championship Title holders 8)

Sweet as, nothing like a Bultaco on the rise 8)
Sort of reminds you of the other Spanish spirited babes, with castanets,,,
They may frustrate you occasionally, but no matter what,, their beauty is mesmerizingly varied, and no true blood can help but to glance twice and drool.
Without the thoroughbreds, it would just be a flood of spectrum colors of the same old generic rising sun.
Lets face it they copied everything except the the bomb.
Imagine it without KTM, Husaberg etc? Motocross technology would be uncopied.
Bought all the riders and even tried to copy Chernobyl. Losers.

Read the link and refresh.
Snr Bulto invited Sammy Miller to the Bulto Ranch.
The first Sherpa was then developed in TEN DAYS.
Then forever more,,, trials was divided into two classes to this day,,,
Pre-65 and post 65. Done deal, thanks to Snr Bulto, Sammy Miller and the Sherpa.
There is only first and last here, No Shintaro will ever Cash in a credit to their selves on that historical fact

A picture to tell a thousand words,,,what an understatement.
Is there a Hyres of this pic that would fill a wall poster. What a Classic.

Actually I was thinking of people who were famous for reasons other than being bulto riders.
In the first pic the kid (rentboy?) is the late Alvaro Bulto. He was killed a few years ago in a hang glider accident.
You're on the right track there Mick but the guy in the pic I posted was Rick Wright of Pink Floyd.
-
Opening it up to famous people on Spanish bikes here's a few more:
