Hey, thanks, looks like a good source of info, but what I'm after is a Honda publication.  I don't have much to go on except a reference to the guide in an article on the XR250RE in the Australian Motorcycle News (December 1984).

these thing do come up every now and again on Ebay, i got one for my CR500 some years back. there is not a lot of info in them that you cannot find elsewhere.

i wanted it to go with my OEM owners manual and OEM Workshop Manuals.

If someone has a copy of the Honda prep. guide and does not want to part with it then I'm happy to pay for a scanned version.
