Yeah mate, same from me, you've done a brilliant job. It's a crying shame about your apalling politics though.

Cheers Graeme ......a job well done !

Thanks Graeme for being a level headed and patient Forum owner ..

Thank you one and all for the kind words. I often get to the point of wanting to pull the plug but then I see all the characters, banter and wealth of info and can't bring myself to do it.
Even if some of you make worse political choices than I do.
-
Muchas gracias bossman :)

I haven't been around here much lately, but would like to thank you Grahame for having this valuable site. There is a lot of knowledge here that can only come from grey hair. You can pretty much get an answer from 'The best shares to invest in' to 'How to get a welded sprocket off'.
I don't race, so don't care for the politics. But as an old dirt bike enthusiast and compulsive tinkerer, this site has been the most valuable resource on the www.
-
never a dull moment .................. ;) cheers
-
Cant remember how long ago it was when I tripped over an aussie website with heaps of guys all yapping about old dirt bikes and all of the information was first hand and I thought this place looks okay. Much better info here than on any of the US websites.
The information is second to none and so are the members in general but keeping it all running seamlessly even after the Turks fired a few broadsides, is Graeme.
Every team needs a leader and you sir are a bloody legend of a leader.
This place wouldnt be half as good without you.
thankyou for your time , effort and patience.
cheers.

Everyone appreciates a masochist! ;) Thanx.
-
Thank you Graeme for your patience, understanding, hard work keeping us all in trim and being a controlling body for this site for your input into making ozvmx work over the years, you should be very proud of it and yourself.
Regards
David

:-* :-* :)
just have to see ""who's online"" and half are guests, so we all get the info we need.Thats not too bad when there are only say 10 vmx clubs with say 100+ members in Oz..
We are a small community lets keep it a goodin. 8)
Its a cracker Graeme keep at it :)
-
thanks for keeping the dream alive Macca. It was this site and you old school guys out at the ACT track that gave me the vmx bug.
remember this? Graeme giving it to the moderns...

Nice one Woody. If ya can't beat them by fair means... The funny thing was, on a 1975 RM125 with me at the helm, there were still a couple of blokes on moderns I could dice with in Over 35s. I think that just shows that at the back of the field, it's not the machinery holding us back.
-
Great effort keeping this going Graeme, I hope you hang in there ,
Cheers KB
-
Graeme, bugger the moderns, get back into classic DT!!
-
Can't thank you enough Graham for you contribution to our sport/hobby. Great effort to provide for others benefit.
-
Yeah, thanks from me too Graeme. I wouldn't know where to look for my fix of VMX related stuff if it wasn't for Ozvmx.
-
Great work keep it going.
-
Didn't come on yesterday so Im looking like a slacker , so here is my pat on the back Graeme . I enjoy the site for a lot of the tech info plus its good to see what the others are up to . Iain ps if your politics are opposite to uncle's your ok by me . 8)

My VMX knowledge is limited so I sit back and learn from this forum. Its been a great and entertaining help Graeme. Let me know when your in QLD next, and you can come over and root my missus. ;D
-
Thanks from me too Graeme, this forum got me started in VMX and now its a big part of my recreational life. Thank you for your spirit of dedication and hard work keeping us all linked together in this great part of motorsport and friendship.

Jeez I dunno mate, have you seen her ?
Actually we had a bit of a fundraiser for the forum a while back, now might be the time to get the lads to kick the can again, Graeme : I'd gladly cough up again. In spite of the faecal agitators it remains a must-see every day I jump on the keyboard.

Call me cynical, but something about that offer suggests it may not be all that you dream it might be...

A 'few' years ago when I was in my very early 20s, my neighbour was an Eastern European bloke in his early 60s. One day, he had a big shouting match with his wife - one of those full-on barneys that leaves you wondering if you need to call the cops, and you really don't want to be anywhere near.
Once it began to settle down, he poked his head over the fence and said in his thick accent "this wuman give me shits! You boyz want free wuman?".
We politely demurred and he disappeared.
A few minutes later, his wife poked her head over the fence. In her thick accent, she asked "you boyz wunt free man?".
A unappealing as his offer was, her's was even less so.
And we didn't even administrate a VMX forum!
-
Sounds scary Nathan. And I'll politely turn down Sicko's offer, as enticing as it was.
Tell you what though, anyone who wants me to ride their bike, just give me a shout. I'll ride anyone's bike.

Ok. mine anytime Graeme, remember to bring a friend for the sidecar and it's definitely not for modern SX tracks, lest you want to be crippled um quicker... ;)
Upsides , don’t need to carry paddock stand, has electric start (with kickstart or push/bump backup), is a pre75 That has a legal front disk brake, room on sidecar for an Esky of beer, gorgeous women seem to like it.. if it breaks ya just weld, wire, tape or bodge it up as per it's whole existence, degenerate weirdos seem to like it, you don't have to balance it and try to pull down the front end at same time when tying it on a trailer, matter of fact you have to pull down the front end!!! Cheers Tim754
(and it's a neat 944cc powerplant I am pretty certain ;)*) then again it may be the 932cc one or the 1046cc variant or heaven forbid one of my minuscule 840cc efforts..
*Yep I cannot for certain remember which one I put there last... :o
-
Really guy's? You don't know what your missing out on!! She is a good-lookin' bloke!

Not sure if the pic of Yoda is a resemblance to sicko's mrs, but even a paper bag wouldn't help with those ears....
Nice bike Tim
-

I agree with Lozza!
Cheers, Daryl.
