Hi,
Chasing a disc brake front end to fit my 1982 Honda XR250. Expect I will need Wheel, Forks, Triples, Master Cylinder & caliper. Not looking at breaking the bank, just can't see the point in putting work into my current front end.

What size are the fork tubes on this model?
-
I'll check tonight, not that large. I was hoping if I got a whole front end it might have larger diameter forks as a bonus.

I run a complete 84 CR250 front end on my XR500 so it's still pre 85 legal. The single best mod you can do on one of those bikes :)

Hi Simo63, that would be my preference, but as they say beggars can't be choosers.

Hi Bahnzy, Fork size = 37mm

If you're after an XL 250/350 disc brake front end I can help you there. Can also help with an XR600 one as well.

Hi Simo,
Would have preferred a 1984 cr250 front end, but I'll see what this guy has got his is only round the corner from work so it might work out ok. Otherwise I'll see what can be done with what you have, transport will require work I'm in Sydney.

easier to find a blown up XR250/350, grab the front end and sell the leftovers. I have done this twice. Get the front end free in most cases.
