importantly ensure that ever plate is the right way round ie Same way ! Have you drilled the inner hub for more oil circulation ?

havnt had any probs with how the clutch works with the other 250's (543 & 544) i have. just wondering why i have so many of these 1mm steel plates and not the 1.4 mm ones.i see horvaths have 1mm & 1.4 mm listed for these types of motors.

Just checked some clutches here yep their 1.4 so 8x1.4 is 11.2 we did add two steels as the clutches wore but you have to make up 3.2 mm so in theory you need 3 more 1mm id get some new steels if i were you. you have to get the basic stack right remember too if the stack is too much when you disengage the outer pressure plate may rotate and damage will result YOU need 27.55mm all up

went thru my other parts manuals and they do run 1mm steel plates and it is just one extra of each
