Is anybody racing these?

The AHRMA 100 class over here has been steadily growing...

DC what are the wheel sizes?  Looking at the engine in the photo it seems like a model we for many years ,a Yamaha MX100 that was a stripped of  road legal lights DT100 with the smaller sixteen inch rear and a small front wheel too (Midi cycle) later the engine frame and other parts became the RT100.

That's an MX100A or B. Basically the same bike as an MX125A, but with a smaller front wheel and steel lower fork legs.
Confusingly, the later red MX100s that came with an early IT-style headlight (and RT100s) were actually more closely related to the earlier LT2....

The two obvious differences are the single backbone frame and leg burner pipe on the LT and later MX/RT.

Standard wheel sizes on a MX100A are 18 or 19" front, with an 18" rear, IIRC.
It looks like this bike has a front end off a twin shock DT175 or MX125 - 21" front wheel and slightly less wimpy forks.
Cool as.  8)

What's to stop someone building a DT100 like this for the dunger class? Cool bike but it is an MX and I think we need to stick to the trailys for our base bikes.

It's got the 21" front wheel and front forks from a Yamaha MX 125. The bike is fairly competitive in the 125 sportsman (1974 & older) class.
