As you said, another good read.
This has to be the most bottomed-out bike I've seen

Sorry Noel, i can still see air between the front tire and guard :)

Reminded me of this pic though. You can see Bailey's boots bending over the pegs.

Paul ... husky still has another 20mm of travel left in it. Still see chrome on rear shafts ;D

Even flattened the front tyre.

whereabouts is that on the track (connondale?) cant work it out. looks like the back of drunks, but that is now a downhill?
-
Coming back over drunks I think, the track used to go straight without the big S bend.
Taken from the pits

Qld Moto Park. Aussie championships 2013
Amazingly good handling and a blast to ride.

Great shot Daryl, and not a bit of plastic in sight

That's Andy Jefferson, the "Bro Show"
I really like the look of those Huskys

Just goes to show how wrong the rear shock geometry was on those things!
-
I thought they worked well? I don't think he is going to go over the bars in the "next shot" ;D

There is no way you can see the shock shafts, that is the blue shock body. They are a long body short stroke shock.
Those ITC Husky's have easily the best twin shock rear suspension and the tyre barely kisses the guard when bottomed.

I just dragged my 1984 Husky CR250 out of the back shed, fired her up (1st time in 4 years) & gave her a belt around the back yard track. I don't know what the magazines are on about, the bike goes unreal, fast, stable, turns & the suspension is really plush. Think I'll prep it for VIPER at Barrabool on the 25th October.

perfect bike for Barrabool. noel Clarke had one new and it was a ripper.
