Paul ... husky still has another 20mm of travel left in it. Still see chrome on rear shafts  ;D

whereabouts is that on the track (connondale?) cant work it out. looks like the back of drunks, but that is now a downhill?

Coming back over drunks I think,  the track used to go straight without the big S bend.

Just goes to show how wrong the rear shock geometry was on those things!

Just goes to show how wrong the rear shock geometry was on those things!
There is no way you can see the shock shafts, that is the blue shock body. They are a long body short stroke shock.
Those ITC Husky's have easily the best twin shock rear suspension and the tyre barely kisses the guard when bottomed.

I just dragged my 1984 Husky CR250 out of the back shed, fired her up (1st time in 4 years) & gave her a belt around the back yard track. I don't know what the magazines are on about, the bike goes unreal, fast, stable, turns & the suspension is really plush. Think I'll prep it for VIPER at Barrabool on the 25th October.
