Title: TM 250 seat foam density?

Happy Australia Day!

The seat foam I have for my 73 TM 250 K is very soft. I don't want to order new foam to find out it is no more firm than what I have now.

Was the original foam soft, or more firm like the RM?

Ken the foam on my original low hr TM seat is  soft but feels about  right. Not firm. Never sat on an RM seat so can't compare.  But if it doesn't go through to the metal base it's probably as it should be. Bit far to travel to Syd tho to try mine out ????

Thanks JJ. When you sit on you are much more than 1/2 way through the foam, and I'm light, so I suspect is too soft. Cheers. Ken

i'm 76kg. Ken, and don't go more than half way thru. its very comfy. pm me and and i can send you a photo if you want to see what it looks like on the bike  - JJ

Mine sinks quite a bit on my 74 tm400 but I am 110kg and it still doesnt feel like the seat foam is had it.
