In a weak moment I took a little notice of a TV ad by a insurance company (because it featured a bike!) and was a bit horrified to see them crash an RL250 into the side of a bus! It was meant to be humourous but I wasn't laughing! Shocked I tells ya! Couldn't they have used a bike that no-one would miss, like a IT or Hodaka or such?

they DID use a bike no one would miss :)
except for Crazy Canam fans , Mainline and Maybe Captain Risky

When I immigrated to Aus sold a mint 1974 rl 250 for 1500rand todays $$$ 150 they told me don't bring anything with sand on it :'( lol >:( so I sold all my bikes and now we get everything through ebay covered in sand (should have brought everything with me) would post photo but don't know how but sad to sell bikes for nothing when i could of use them here

Fear not, it's Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) stuff. Just not as obvious as the XB being jumped of the ramp bullshit. ;)

I thought the RL bounced back off the bus graciously!

You might want to have a look at the Trials forum on this subject. All is not what it seems!
