Title: Rebound springs ; 40mm forks

Any suggestions as to where I might find some most appreciated .

I think they run a rebound washer rather than a spring. Check your parts book. Frank Pons has some of the washers

Post by: b490 on December 12, 2014, 10:49:07 pm: My 500 forks work fine but 250 forks are clunking when on full extension from rebound ,( no excessive pre load ) , New fork bushes & dampening rod top out sealing washers fitted on the 250 .
Both bikes forks have the top out springs fitted to dampening rods .? ?

have you centered the damper rods before tightening the bottom bolts?

All good now Teddy , I did the job 8) ........ so I didn't have to sell a bike to pay a plumber . ;)
