Title: The float height for Keihin PE38 I think it is wrongly quoted. CR500RE

Can anyone with tech details for a Honda CR500RE please confirm the float height for the PE38 carb.  All carb suppliers info states 22.5mm but I think that would be MILES too lean!  I set it at 16mm and it carburates near perfect with no overflow.

Out of interest, the quoted float height for a PWK carb is 16mm.  I'd say that if any CR owners were using the 22.5 figure quoted, that could explain the ping-king reputation that the bike got; that's if I have the correct floats in my carb?

In the Honda manual it is 16mm
