Title: KTM 250 MC 1979 Cylinder

Hello am chasing a cylinder for a KTM 250 MC 1979.
The Cylinder I have has a broken fin and would like a new one if I can get one.

 whats the first  6 numbers of the engine  and first 4 of the frame ...

Its a August 79 model the bike I think people have commented that it looks like an 80 model.
Would I be right in assuming its like now the the 15 models have landed and its only 2014?

Frame     908 08***
Engine    9-54231**     that's stamped in it.

The cylinder is what I need also has some numbers near the intake port
