Just thought I'd let you guys know about a purchase I made with a Melbourne based ebay seller.
I ordered a new Unifilter for my CR500RE, a couple of weeks after the due delivery date I sent them a message asking where my filter is, no reply, I tried again a couple of days later, no reply.
I have opened a case against them before the time-limit is passed.
The ebay seller's name is DVMX, seller's Paypal name comes up as Hayley Ronald with other details ... dvmximports@bigpond,com, 0409 182 954.
Beware, I'll update if I get the item, or even contact! ;-)

I know of him and wouldn't have thought him dodgy, he's been trading for quite a few years.
One of the first things to check in situations like this is your spam box as he may be replying but your not receiving it as his replies are being filtered out.
The next thing is to try to contact him by some other means as his system may be filtering you out. Have you tried to ring him?
Had a problem a few months back, after several e-mails and the customer placing and paying for an order the customer then contacted me to see how it was going. From his replies I could see he wasn't receiving my replies. He thought I had gone underground and I had no other means to contact him. It was very frustrating for both of us.
Finally I had a brainwave and sent him a Paypal invoice for 0.01 cent in order to be able to send him a message, it got through and the worries were put at rest.

did he pay the 1 cent invoice ::)

One of the VMX businesses who has a reputation for not supplying orders has been advertising stuff on ebay as being Melbourne based, even though he's actually in NSW.
Same person, perhaps?

I've bought from him a couple of times & had no issues

Good, that's why I put so much information about them, hoping that others might have feedback, thanks. I left a message on their phone this arvo, let's hope they reply, maybe they are away on holiday or something.

I doubt it.
He is still listed as Diamond Creek which is where he's been for many years.
His father was an early Vic. VMXer

I would guess its jim Ronald son, Jim lives down my way, has been for years, raced CZ, Maico, Bultaco, great fellow, ( not Dodgy) they are a good family.

All is cool now :-) It is Jim Ronald's daughter, they had been away on holiday, the automated message they put on ebay somehow didn't work.
