Just wondering if anyone has been brave enough to try those cheap JBS shocks that are on fleabay?
-
I know one guy who used them on an early rm250 dirt track. He had a crash and one broke the shaft. I must say i am tempted to try them on my rz.

I dont know about those JBS shocks.. its just the fact of knowing that your riding with them. A bit like going to a night club with kmart jeans on. I did consider them for a second and then i went with the next cheapest which was the Betors direct from the factory.

I had similar on a pe of mine and they were pretty crap but mind you I weigh more than average too that wouldnt have helped.
I mainly buy works performance set to my weight yeah they cost more but the difference a good set of shocks make is worth every cent.

ya cant go past good shocks on a PE, makes them into an excellent bike. ;)

Gazi ;) great bang for buck

I just put a set on my 78 PE175, and rode it at Harrisville, probably ok for trailriding but they were no good over jumps, very harsh on compression and no rebound, wouldn't recommend on a RM...
