Title: WANTED - '83/'84 KX250/500 or '83 Yam TT600 top triple-clamp.

Anyone got a top triple-clamp to suit either '83 or '84 KX250 or KX500 that they want to swap or sell?

I got an '84 KX125 top clamp with solid-mount bar clamps that I can swap if you want to lose the rubber mountings  ;-)

Pretty much all of the KXes and KDXes with 43mm RWU forks have interchangable top triples. There's two, possibly three different offsets though. It seems to be 83-85 KX125 vs everything else, but I'm not promising that!

Now here's the cool bit: Most Yamahas that came with 43mm RWU forks will also be able to supply a suitable top triple clamp with better bar position. They literally bolt straight on.
TT600, YZ250S and IT200 definitely work, and I'm 99% sure that most of the other 1980s Yamahas with 43mm forks will also work.
The exception is YZ125 with the 39W triples (because the fork legs are closer together).

Grouse Nathan, thanks, will start looking for Yam clamps to see if they work, would like to move the bars forward.

Anyone got a top triple-clamp, suits 43mm RWU forks, 25mm offset, with rubber bar-mounts?

I got a genuine NOS top and bottom IT200 triple, basically everything you see in the link here http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/1984/IT200L/STEERING/parts.html, do i wanna sell it? I dunno  :-\ Whats a reasonable price if i did? I dunno that either!! :-\ ;D Talk to me it theres any interest, happy to swap for easily saleable items of value.

Cheers, Brendan
