Is that Warren Smart who was riding for Kawasaki Australia a couple of years ago and had to retire due to injury?  Where do u find full results for the Hattah?

Yes thats Warren , but he now rides his own Honda and handles the YSS Motocross side . He is a very very good test rider and now has perfected our Hi low speed shock . I think the results should back that up. I believe ADB is now doing a full coverage of the event .

Couple of lads from our club did the hattah last week, they placed as high as thrird in 07 and said it was as good as ever, still no finke hype but seems to be going real strong and getting good riders all the time.

I think Ben graham won it in o7 and then backed it up this year winning the Finke didnt he ?

:o Thats great to hear Smarty is on a bike, he was Faaaaast, his corner speed was lightning. I used to enjoy watching him at all the modern events.. Aussies.. Vic titles etc. :)

I was just at Hattah, what a great weekend it was to, Warren Smart was on the pace at saturdays pre and then was never really bothered on sunday, Ben Grabham was behind most of sundays race, the only time things changed was in the pits at refuel time after first lap, Warren was right with him, and he kept it up all day after that to take out a good win, im not sure what happened to Grabham in the end as i was way up in the sand hills,  it was good to see Tony Lockett there to, he was a ok rider and did well up against riders half his age.

I only did it once, but that was as a pre run for the 2001 Safari.
I did it on a fully loaded Safari bike carrying 26 litres of fuel, water etc etc.
Shit it was hard work..............  :D
It is a great event though.  ;)
