Great photo. Unfortunately the last signature will be even harder to get hold off.
Those were the days.

You're a classic Doc, I'll pay that one.

Nice one doc.. I got Gastons signature on a poster when he rode at Tivoli in about '76, guess it's a bit more collectable now. That would be Anthony Gunter on the #3 suzuki and Neil Hudson behind i'd agree with vmx42.

Gaston the Great
incidently that other photo is of Gaston Rahier (250 Suzuki) leading Anthony Gunter (250 Suzuki) and a fast closing Neil Hudson (250 Maico) in the Internationals 250cc heat at Wyong 1976. Rahier went on to win from Hudson and not sure what happened to Gunter :-\ I have the same (stolen) picture in my Flickr.com collection :P Maico31, you're not in the pic below are you? Tivoli 1976??

I'm not in that pic doc, but one of those kids looks familiar. Were you there?
-
;D yes, but I never got to got to meet Gaston or any of the other riders. we were parked pretty much directly opposite the finish line/control tower thing but way over the other side up along the boundry fence. Apart from Gastons riding I don't remember much else, then again, I wasn't looking at anyone else I guess :P I rode the tivoli track a few years later. that was another eye opener and made me realize how amateur I was :D oh, that is not my photo by the way..I stole it from a Rev's, I didn't own a camera back then ;)

Gaston came to our monday night club meeting at the old Surfers Raceway the day after the Tivoli race as a special guest. We were asking him questions and he was signing things for us. I asked him 'how much suspension has your 125 got?' He answered '250'. I said 'No, how much suspension travel has your 125 got?' Again he said '250'.........'250 millimeters'. Doh!... i thought he couldn't understand english! We were still talking feet and inches back then.
