Yeh saw that ouch , bike has only set me back about 1k to buy and all the parts so far . I suppose Im a cheap bugger but $250 US for a tin plate is a bit high .

I may be able to help Iain, Reckon I have one somewhere, I brought one of those Ebay jobs a couple of years back (Still  new sitting in the box ;),Don't recall them being that bloody exxy though :o) So should have my old one,It needs minor repairs from memory & no brackets, will have a look & let you know :)

I have a brand new replica plate Ian. If you don't need the brackets thats great as I need them for my '74 XR. $50 and it's all yours. Post will probably be around 10 bucks I reckon
