Hi all, I once read somewhere on the net where someone had plans or drawings to make a Suzuki pe battery box. Does anyone know where to find it? Working on a budget build 82 PE175, pictures to come. Thanks

I spent a lot of time doing that. You can find it here

Thanks heaps, that will keep me busy.

ol mate just built one by finding a 6 volt box at the wreckers and adding a couple of tabs to bolt her up. worked well

Working on a 82 PE175, this one will be a bit of a shitter but collecting parts for the next build which will be an 80 model PE175 that will be glass case worthy.

good luck finding an original box... mine was in the bin 15 mins after picking the bike up from rego in 1983...just like everyone elses
-
I don't think they are that hard to find - I picked one up from a member on this site without trying too hard.

By the way the drawings are taken from 80-82 twinshock holder. The 82-84 Full floater and the 79 N holder are different.
These bikes use the same battey so my be source for a holder you could adapt

All good, it will be for a 1980 twin shock, this 83 model I'm working on now will be a budget build with no road gear, just filling in time until my 80 model arrives. Probably like most people, I have had all this gear over the years, speedos, headlights and battery boxes but either gave them away or sold on ebay.
