This is my first vintage KX and it also one of my fav bikes of all. IMO one of most good looking bikes ever made.
A huge thank you to Albert who helped make this happen.
I have just started the restoration process and I would like opinions on using the KYB shocks or rebuild the standard ones. This bike will be ridden its not a pool room bike. Also what is a good plastic tank polish/restorer

More adjustability & wank-factor with the KYB air-assist shocks, I don't think they workmuch better than rebuilt std KYB's.  I have both on my 250A5's

I got Rodney at Radd Supension in Qld to rebuild my A5 stockers, did a great job at a great price. Get the stockers rebuilt and swap back and forwards between the two.

If you want to win races, I think current Ohlins with adjustable comp & rebound would be the go.

Hey Dave if I fall out of love with her Ill ring you first.
Got to do something with that seat it is dam ugly.
Interesting John about the shocks, Ill try some gazzi's as well.
