Title: BSA B44 kickstart shaftand cover question

Just looking to work on my B44. It has small 5/8" kick starter shaft. Looking to go to splined 3/4' shaft to use with splined kick start from Terry Weedy in UK.
1  Did B44 come with 2 cases with 5/8" and 3/4" kick shaft?
2  Does the B50 case fit the B44?
3  put in shaft and quadrant with 3/4" holed cover/that easy?

Dont know about the answer to Q1
Q2 yes the B50 case will fit a B44.
Q3 the kick start ratchet on a B50 is the opposite way round to a b44 but I dont know if this effects the fit
