If you were going to sell your left nut anyway, now is the time.
-
I would sell both for this bike
-
Is it worth that? Its really nice
Brett
-
I want it too :) what the red bike in the back ground, gee has gone a lot of gear, who is he, I thought Terry Good owned that bike.
-
If that is worth that, what would Hakan Anderson's 73 World Title winning YZ 250 be worth.
-
He says that he has Marty , Rex Stanton's bike's as well .
-
I have dealt with Cody Tellis before, he wants top dollar with everything he owns, plus he is hard to deal with, and that going by experience.
-
I would be too scared to send the money and not end up with the bike due to import, or being lost etc. Think i would fly there and pack it into separate boxes then bring the frame back in luggage.

I am not sure which Tellis brother, they still own parts to a friend , which where not packed at the time, and never forward them, my friend never received them, he still doesn`t have them.

I am with you brett, I also would fly there and buy it and take it away, then organize shipping it.

I like it coz it's not one of those stinking cantilevers ;-)
-
It's Cody Tellus....the bike is the real deal. He's wants top dollar for his stuff and can be difficult yo deal with but find me another real PK bike for sale...
-
Those Evo class bikes aren't cheap...
:D

I guess it must be Evo, probably couldn't run Pre 78 with it ;-)
-
Could you imagine if you tried to enter pre 75 . It is a pre 75 . Iain
-
he is several years too late to get that kind of cash. be easier to build a rep for 15K...wouldn't it?
-
Maybe but it wouldnt be genuine or have the PK DNA on it. Seriously though I imagine there's a sprinkling of unobtanium on it that would be nearly impossible to replicate and even if you did its not the original thing. Just saying. J PS I've never seen a works Yamaha before with laid forward shocks. Apart from Ake's Yamaico! I thought company policy was to default straight to Monoshock. Is this one that got away????
-
no doubt a replica is no "real thing" but 45 k for a muddabike..... you could spend some time fabbing up the unobtanium stuff and everyone would be impressed ....if you owned the real thing you wouldn't want to ride it!!!

Making interesting reading on other social media..
Why is it Euro colours ,why does it have a yellow back mudguard....watch this space :) :P :)
is it fake is it real :D
-
Yes I hadn't thought of Euro tank but Yamaha did often run white front and sidecovers with a Yellow rear . "one chance to win " 1975 had the works bike yellow tank white front and sidecovers yellow rear . The other thing that troubles me is the top rear shock mounts in 1973 .
