Title: YZ front fork springs
Post by: Digga on August 10, 2014, 06:32:27 pm
I have got odd sized front springs in my 125G. Books say they should be free length of 563mm but these are 600mm long & 31.5mm dia  :-\

The guy I bought the bike from thought that the original owner had put a set of 250G springs in it so wondering if anyone has a 250G owners manual out there to confirm the std length on the bigger brother model.

I'll check the Clymer manual for you tomorrow, don't think it gives diameter only free length

Thx Tony
Well in that case not sure what these are then because they are both 600 mm exactly, dont appear to have been cut. Maybe they are 608 mm that have compressed to 600 mm after all these years?

Not sure if that happens to springs or not  :-\
