Title: Parts ID
Post by: FAT-TOY on July 30, 2014, 08:02:04 pm

Can any of you CZ blokes identify these parts?  They were in a bag of freshly zinc plated parts that came with my CZ.  I presume they are from the CZ because most of the other stuff in the bag is from my bike, but because some of the bike had previously been pulled down and came in a box I am having a bit of trouble placing them.
They are 75mm long the pipe section is 25mm machined to 24mm on the end and with a 16mm bore.

Don't go near Newie Platers,(both of them)plenty of horror stories with them.
You were lucky getting some other poor buggers bits,It gets nasty when some other buggers got some of your prized bits and the owner of the place puts the heavies on you because you want your parts back and he has no idea who owns what.  Never again.

Talking about bolts, well we weren't but since I mentioned it do the CZ bolts have any identifying marks on the head like some of the other makes?  In amongst the parts and bolts that came with my bike are a mixture of bolt types,  I think some are Honda others are probably just run of the mill high tensile as well as some others.  I would like to use all originals on this build if I can,  I know you can buy sets to suit other makes off ebay but I haven't found any for the CZs.
Also does anyone know where I can pick up a Parts Manual or some exploded views of the frame, motor forks etc for a 250 side piper,  preferably a free download or something emailed to me.
Thanks in advance for any help.

If I remember right the CZ bolts that had nuts were finer pitch & no markings, the M8s had 14mm heads
