Title: New Guy from California

Hi Guy's
I started riding when I was 11yrs old on a Bonanza Mini Bike that my dad bought me and my brother from the local Lawnmower shop and stopped riding when I got a driver’s license at 16yrs old in the mid 70’s. I reconnected with the hobby about 10 years ago by restoring a 1976 Yamaha DT400 Enduro which still own and ride, bike #2 purchased about 3 years ago a 1973 Kawasaki Z1900 which I still own and ride, bike #3 & 4 both 1971 Suzuki TM400R which are in poor but running condition and both are number matching bikes. These last two are why I joined your forum as it seems that there is a lot of knowledge and activity here regarding the vintage Suzuki’s which I have not found anywhere else. Possible #5 a 1976 Yamaha YZ400 I have my eye on. Thanks for the add Graeme.

I'd love to see some pics of your bikes especially the tm400's I have a 71 and a 74 tm400, thanks Michael. :)

Thanks guy's, sorry for the confusion I was thanking Graeme for adding me to the forum my name is Randy. I am located in Norhtern Ca. in the town of Santa Rosa which is in the wine county about 60 miles north of San Francisco.

Welcome Randy , Great to see a few different brands , plenty of Suzy freaks on here . Get the 400c they are a very good bike once you get the air forks set up . Iain

Randy welcome aboard  ... buckle up and enjoy the ride, it gets a bit bumpy now and then but it's all part of the fun .

You've found a good site here. I'm an Illinois guy and swoop thru daily. These guys talk funny sometimes, (and I say that in my southern twang) but you'll get used to it and they'll have you say'n g'day and mate in no time..... ;)

Thanks guy’s, I’m in the middle of a bathroom remodel and getting the daughter off to collage so hopefully when the dust settles I can get started on the Suzuki’s.
