Anyone know of coaching clinic around the SE QLD area? There is coaching at the MX track at Fort Lyton but that track is stadium, I'm looking for the old school MX tracks like the natural terrain track at QMP. Would I get any benefit from doing a bit of coaching on the stadium track?
Cheers

I have previously organised Vintage riding schools at Harrisville and then at Echo Valley before the PCMXC.
If the numbers are there again we can do something. I prefer Harrisville although I can think of another two options as well.
Kevin PM me or post here.

I am also interested in VMX coaching

OK Guys things are coming together here are two possible dates.
1. Weekend of 16 & 17 August, Sunday appears to be the preferred day.
2. Weekend of 23 & 24 August, Sunday again appears to be the preferred day.
The venue is Harrisville.

It is looking like Sunday 17 August for VMX. Barry Surawski will be the MA licenced coach and Glen Bell will be involved too. I still need to finalise cost etc. Could be a junior school on Saturday too.

Can't make either dates :( Will have to wait for the next one :'(

After further discussion and checking MQ calendar we have decided the weekend of 23&24 August is the better option.
I know this is the week-end of the Aust Classic MX Champs in SA, but we figure the majority of riders who want to attend the school may not be going to SA. It is the week before the BMCC club day at Harrisville too.
I will post costs and etc details soon. Please email me or text me if you want etc details. I need mobile Nos so I can contact you quickly.

That BMCC club day is at Nudgee.
-
Well that's funny. The latest MQ Calendar has it at Harrisville.
When did that change?
How many riders wanting to do the school will be riding the BMCC club day.
Anyone who has Pre 85 or Pre 90 bike you won't be able ride this one anyway.
Another problem organising the school has come up. The weekend of 23&24 August is now out. Greg Mitchell (Harrisville owner) will be in SA that weekend.
It's fun trying to suit everyone.
-
Greg was always going to be away that weekend for the Classic Nats..BMCC club day is at Nudgee 31st August.
BMCC practice day Harrisville 20 Sept, up to Pre90
BMCC Club Championship Harrisville 21 Sept
QVMX/BMCC Interclub Echo Valley 19 Oct
BMCC Charity Day, Harrisville 26 Oct
PanPac Masters Vinduro/Enduro Pimpama 2&3 Nov

Any luck finding an alternative sunday?
-
OK Greg Mitchell isn't going to Port Augusta now so we are back to 23&24 August. I'm having a little bit of trouble finalising things. I'll try to post something early next week (hopefully Monday)

I have been able to put together a VMX at Harrisville on either Saturday or Sunday 23 or 24 August.
Barry Surawski will be the coach. The cost will be $120.00 / rider. Plus $25.00 for single use rec licence (SURL) if you haven't got an MA licence. We will do a discount rate for Father and Son etc.
Barry prefers to do the school on the Saturday if everyone agrees. You can then camp at the track and ride the next day if you want to, to put into practice the things you have learnt. A SURL from Saturday will cover Sunday as well.
Please let me know ASAP if you are interested [email protected] (http://[email protected]) or text me 048705606
