G'day viewers just thought I would let everybody know how happy I am  8) I bought a Triumph Bonneville  1976/77  it needs a little TLC but for $2000 it's a cool bike I thought I would never have. Jimson

go to Maccas and eat in but take it away - it will provide you with the drip tray your going to need. I have a few under my Velocette, one for the engine one for the gearbox  ::)

I will change the wheels over to spoked ones later at this point in time I'm keen to just clean it up and put rego on it.
I'm keen to get it on the road for summer  :) jimson
PS it can leak as much as it wants I'll just feed it more oil. You wouldn't kick a model out of bed for farting would you  ;D

it would depend on the amount of odour that the models farts produces. :-\

"change both wheels",is the rear mag too,if so, is the engine prefix indeed T140D?,thats a really good score, D's had megacycle cams, none of that sissy pollution (pre carbon tax)camshafts the rest got  ;D,your tappet (exhaust moreso) clearances accordingly are larger settings too, they rev  8),i used to assemble them from the crate bitd, best model, :P
ps they're morris mags, worth hanging onto mate!!

G'day Mick how you going mate. I think it's the model before the pollution crap. The model prefix is T140v  meaning 5 speed box. I will keep the mags and yes they are front & back. I like the old school look so I'll be putting spoked wheels & a lower profile seat on the old girl when I have some cash to throw at her. Mate your lucky you don't live close to me because I would be knocking on your door right now. Jimson
