Title: RM370 stator, cdi and rotor, will they work on a 400C?

Just wondering...

I know the stator is the same but can't see why the rotor or cdi (different part #'s) wouldn't work also when the 400 is basically an overbored 370.

There are more options in aftermarket ignitions for the 370 where most don't even list the 400 hence I am curious about the interchangeability.

Hey, just try it. As you say there basically the same motor, same stroke just bigger bore. CDI will have a different curve but that shouldn't matter. I run a 125 CDI on mine, starts easier and revs higher.
