Title: Wanted throttle assembly to suit 1979-80 RM250/400.

Bought a new throttle cable for my RM250T only to discover the throttle assembly is actually off an '82. So.... anyone got a spare throttle to suit the 1979/80 RM250/400?

I've got a box of old throttles Graeme. Post a picture of what you want and I'll see if I've got one for you.

Well I haven't got one to take a picture of!  But here's the part in question, numbers 1 & 2 in the diagram.

Graeme ... you will find the Tm  250   Rm  A B C  will work all so .
Don't loose part # 4 as it's the adpt
# 2   is the grip only
# 1   is the  assembly

Yeah, it's the same part for A/B/C/N/T. I didn't realise what a bitza arrangement I had till I ordered the cable. I have what looks like an 82 housing, 80 grip, and maybe an 82 cable. I bought an 80 cable, and no of course it didn't come with a #4 'piece'. So my 80 cable won't work with my 82 housing.

I'm thinking the better way to go will be a Gunnar Gasser or similar.
