july 8 1972 the inaugural Superbowl of Motocross was held at L.A.coliseum. 250cc international class and 500cc support class.

Yep that was sensational stuff on the 8th of July. Not so sensational for the masses I suppose is the 8th of July happens to be my birthday :D
