Bendan (Rookie) had a company called motorcycle pick-ups WA put my IT on a half pallet to make transport cheaper, that KDX broken down would be an easy pack on a half pallet.

1985 model is exactly the same bike as well.

thanks Paul but I just want a roller so I can convert the bastardised KDX/KX250 Hybrid I already have back to a vinduro weapon it should be. Here's my bike at the moment (and no I am not responsible for these "modifications" .. I purchased it exactly like this :

Hey Simo

Cheers

Probably a bit hard to see but aside from that modification, the bike is brilliant. I rode it at a QVMX practice day one weekend and could not believe how good it was to ride.

Is it a klx swingarm?

Thanks Tony but I'd just like to return it back to the bike it was instead of it being a hybrid

Simo is the bike legal for the class between pre 78 and pre 85 ( i wont dare mention the name ) ?

I don't want to go there Bill however it is a 1983 single shock frame converted back to twin shock so only eligible for pre 85. I purchased it already modified like this and I suspect back in the day it was a cheap version of the mighty KX250A5. I'm okay with that but I just want to restore it to it's original condition. I believe I might be able to just put the swing arm and unitrak shock back in and grind off the extra brackets but I honestly don't know what else on the bike has been modded (eg wheels, forks etc) so wanted a stock roller to rebuild it with.
By the way i think it looks great :)
Thanks. It's an awesome bike to ride. The KDX motor has plenty of punch and is a great motor and it handles fantastically for it's era.

Here's some more bits, I don't know what year exactly, but are cheap
