I commissioned this custom postie from a well known builder called

For all the Honda riders here is a chance to buy a bike for the EVO 125 class.

It has air cooling, no disc brakes and no linkage rear suspension (or is that no rear suspension).

Also it must be a Mugen machine it's white.

I certainly wouldn't be putting my name to that "custom underslung exhaust" that would point well into the ground when the bike's off the centrestand....

Here's another one, although it looks a lot better and is a lot cheaper, although there is no way it either would be in my garage  ;D

I was in Darwin in 1989, and a stream of Japanese "adventure riders" were coming thru the caravan park we were in... step 1. buy a postie bike, step 2. buy a ts 185 petrol tank and bungee cord it to the down tube... step 3? ride down the Birdsville track... amazing.....

"completely customised by Champion Abbotsford in Melbourne"

I checked them out, here's their address...
"Champion Abbotsford is a Melbourne based bike shop , specializing in custom Honda CT 110’s.

Our workshop is located in the Beer Garden of The Yarra Hotel,
295 Johnston Street, Abbotsford , Melbourne
"

Located in the beer garden!!!
Wish I had thought of that, didn't know pubs were leasing the area's out ;D

not only the japs buy old posties to see aussie, I remember working through a Friday lunch break to respoke a postie back wheel from the boxes of odd spokes we had for a german dude and charged him total time it took being a contract mechanic back then. I refused his $20 cash bonus as thought id freaced him enough so 3 months latter a m watch came over from Germany as his way of saying thanks which was better then the $20 ;D they like to tie milk crates on the carrier and load them up plenty too ;D I guess there a cheap sloowww way of seeing aussie but not for me ;)
