You should be able to get some nice steel tank track wheels at the Army Surplus, that might slow you down just enough Bradley;D

:D ask a silly question I guess :D hey Brad, what are they to fit (sizes??) I didn't know you had anything with steel rims ;) a lot of steel rims are still available. Try one of those British/Euro specializing bike shops, all the old Triumphs and such had the steel rims with those era looking (non jap) larger radius corner/edges. Suzuki still have them new but obviously 36 hole which may not be suitable for your application.

:D Thanks for the useful tips guys! Doc,its for a couple of old CZ's, a 69 and a 72. I would think that someone would know of someone or a wholesaler that had a heap as they wouldn't sell too many these days seeing as everything is alloy.

i get all my steel rims from central wheels in the UK. Titmans is suposed to be the agent in australia but everytime we ring up they have nill stock of the steel rims we want. they say at least a 3 month wait. that is useless so we go direct to central wheels and bring em in ourselves and it only takes a couple weeks. the chrome is pretty good quality and will satisfy 99% of people how ever its since they are mass produced items done to a cost the chrome isnt quite as good as a rim will be when you take it to a good quality chromer who does restoration chrome work. you have to be really picky though to pick any differences though. the Central wheels chrome is however better than OEM japanese chrome and usually better than original english chrome rims such as Dunlop, so i think most people will be happy with that.
