Ok all you other old fogies muttering abut entering the Super Seniors event get an entry form and fill it in NOW!. C'mon Col! get some of your lot from 'the deep north' moving, Don & Ron, Ray and T.H, and all the rest of you! :)
-
At the club meeting last night, good to report that entries for the Super Seniors event are trickling in.
Don't leave it to the last minute as some grids are almost full already! and and late entries can't be accepted for programme of events and logistical reasons. :)
Not accepting late entries makes for an easily run and more enjoyable outing for everybody.
C'mon Ray, John, Col, Ron, Don and the rest of you blokes get you paperwork done, I'm keen to see you all on the starting line.
cheers pancho! ;D
-
How many Supers' do you have at this point Wally?
-
Three so far plus three coming that I know of.
Imperative that entries for ALL events be recieved before the entry closing date.
Some have already reached there max. number.
cheers pancho
Download entry form on City Of Penrith MCC website!

Hi Pancho,
I have spoken to Roy in regards to sponsorship for the charity day and decided we would sponsor the Super Seniors Race after reading your post on here.
We would also like to offer Free Motorcycle Transport from Melbourne or Brisbane or in between plus return to anyone that enters in the Super Seniors race for this meeting. (One bike per entrant). They don't have to own the bike it can be a loaner but it must be entered in the Super Seniors race.
Bike can be dropped off to anyone in the Sydney area or we will have the bike at the track on race day.
Hoping this helps with getting some more entrants as it takes the hassle out of getting the bike to the meeting
Rob & Sheila FULL LOAD MOTORCYCLE TRANSPORT
-
Howabout that for a sponser!! Cheers for FULL LOAD MOTORCYCLE TRANSPORT.
Great!
Another Super Senior, Ray Atkins sent an entry in today!
Gunna be some fun weekend!
cheers pancho.

Just a Qhestion, why only two laps for Supersenios?
-
Well done Full Load Mototcycle Transport and thanks for your support of Classic Dirttrack.
-
Just a reminder to get those entries in! If you have a Pre 65 or pre 70 machine sitting idle in the shed, get her out and have a run!!

Did a bit of work on the RT1 and the slider today, sliders pretty well ready to go, RT1 running rich I had a bit of a charge 'round Friend Hal's paddock last Saturday. Needle's all the way down float level looks ok, "O" ring on the needle jet is ok.
Local Yam. dealer can't get a new needle jet or needle, The main has had the size filed off so its probably been drilled, but they've ordered one in for me.
I have another carby with no slide or needle so I'll put that one together and see what happens probably tomorrow
Roll on 9Th&10Th Aug. cheers ;D
-
Hurry up or miss out! Entries close end of this month. THURSDAY ! :o

Great! see ya there!
Tried the other carby with the new main jet plus new 'O' ring this arvo, sounds good, in my driveway anyhow. Rolled it down the fifty foot or so, fired up first time over compression. 10mm of spark makes a big difference. (12 V coil & battery.) ;D

Anyone seen a rider's list yet?
Lyndel Butler put it on facebook.
-
Another great weekend of racing and socialising done and dusted. ;D
The Nepean track was at its best after being prepared on friday, fast, plenty of traction and no major stacks the 2days of action went off without a hitch.
The competition was red hot and to ride against these blokes both young and older, is as much fun that you can have on a bike.
It was great to see the super senoirs having a ride, I sure hope that I am still up for it at that age.
Wally Cox is an inspiration, when you see a man in his seventies roll up with 2 bikes on his trailer ready to race it sure brings a smile to your face.
If you want to ride on a great track get entered for the CPMCC Club Raceday on the 31st of August, you won't regret it.
-
It was a great day.
And to top it off, was the brilliant ride by Adam Constable, on #18 to win the third Pre75 125's.
-
Honestly? :o
The highlight of the meeting for mine was watching young Matt Thorne on his grandfathers Godden Slider and Mettise Jawa, all day.

It was even better a few metres from behind, just a pitty I could not keep up and watch the whole race. ;D

I meant to mention at the presentation while we were getting our Super Seniors Medalions to thank the blokes that turned up for the event. When I suggested it at our club meeting some felt we wouldn't get the numbers, but eventually after I
winged I was told "You get the starters and its on" so there ya go!
Also a special thank you to FULL LOAD MOTORCYCLE TRANSPORT for the special gift to all the Super S. competitors.
A great days sport for all who attended, including two of our old Merrylands team from the '68 6hour race watching all the goings on.
Plus great to see all the sliders turn up!
cheers pancho
-
Good onya Wally, it was an inspiration to see you guys out there.
You rode bloody good Darren but doesn't that Godden drive hard out of the start?
A get well shout out to Col Moody, the dreaded kickback on his Maico got him pretty good and he's now nursing a broken ankle for 6 weeks, bloody big bore oil burners. >:(
-
A great day, we both enjoyed it immensely, Matt rode extremely well, as did Simon on Max's LTR. EA and I were blown away by the day in all, we'll be back next year, so I'll have to be at my persuasive best for the next 12 months and, who knows ?, I might just get permission from She Who MUST Be Obeyed, to have a skate around with the Super's !!

-
Hey Alvin! you had a good line in that pic! Next year have a talk to Grasy in the pits before the pre '75, ( with an old Velo muffler behind your back!)
-
I was just a passenger on the Honda, The bike doesn't like crowds. Had a ball will see you all at Fairburn for the Titles Gents.Leave the Velo Muffler behind please ;D
-
Well done CPMCC.
I really enjoyed the racing.
The first turn off the start was a bit of a traffic jam in that race, I had to go around to get past. A great days racing.
No get offs on the track all day.
There was an anxious moment in the staging area earlier on while wally warmed his bike up ready for his race. Apart from that it was smooth running.

seen article in Nepean news with club pres. handing a $2500 cheque to rural fire.
