Title: Value of old Sidi boots?
Post by: Nathan S on June 20, 2014, 01:16:37 pm
Found some in a junk shop. The black ones with the thin red/white/green vertical stripes, and seven buckles.

Good used condition - I'd say that they've probably been worn about half a dozen times - they aren't like new, but they're definitely not hammered either. Size 43 or 45 (can't remember exactly, beyond "they're too small for me").

I seem to recall them being worth pretty good money a while back. Still the case?

Dragged out my old pair of Full Bore boots today - made by Sidi for the American market. Had red-white-blue stripes.  Bought from the US in 1969, still in fair shape - hit them with some Coachalene leather dressing.  Might try them next meeting as my modern boots have come apart after about 20 meetings-Stingy buggar I am.
