I would like to thank Mick for what he has done for me, it was the first time i meet mick,he is a real gentleman and l found that he was very highly knowledge about maico, he had a tiring endurance drive to Victoria, and picked up a load of bikes along the way for other vmxers and l am sure that those persons appreciate mick for doing that and helping them out, the next time l meet with mick will be at a race meeting camping around a camp fire talking shit and have a few beers .Thanks mick very grateful cheers Dave.

I too would like to thank MICK for picking up a parts bike for me on his trip, he is one of the few guys left that bother to put themselves out to help others , However I must say that in my short time of VMX I have a restored faith in people wanting to help others as in todays society it just doesn't happen anymore, the people involved in the sport are certainly different to the norm , thanks again MICK . relfy
-
To right relfy , there is a few and more out there that help out ,even our teddy I here ;)
and mates to.
-
And a big thank you to Mick for taking some crap away from my place and dumping it in Qld ;D

One mans junk is another mans treasure Mr Geffory Morris.....I have to thank Mic as well.....be good to catch up with him on the weekend. Hopefully old mate Ted will turn up as well....specially since Firko and Jonesy aren't coming....we need the Manly fairy....LOL.
-
Yep, there are a few good blokes out there, Mick rang me to offer transport for a mates bike. It'd already gone with a transport company but the offer was there and appreciated. Also had GMC and KB chip in. I think the good eggs outweigh the bad fortunately.
-
OK, I get Geoff, Thanks Mick.
-
Yep, by the time he got to me he was 20 coffee's in & looked knackered & i was only the 3rd stop of something like 9 or 10!
Great guy & very appreciatve of all he had met on his journey.
-
Ditto Mick .. you're a legend ... if you keep this up you'll be as good as Ted mate :)
Got a cold beer waiting for you at my camp over the weekend :)

Thanks to Bahnzy as well, he went out of his way to help build the trailer from hell. ;D
-
He was bolting bits back on the trailer when he passed through here ;D

Maybe Mic is that lost Leyland brother?.....travel all over the country side, ask the Leylands, ask the Leylands....LOL. :)

Fantastic to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
I got pretty stressed when the schedule got shot to shit on the first pick up: -\
I didn't calm down till Tuesday ;D :o ::)
So humbled by what BANHZY did for me, top of the heap human, that one 8) one of the best blokes I have ever met.

This next shot was leaving GMC's place

Regardless of how this looks, everything is actually separated by 20mm or a cushion or a tyre.
Nothing moved, nothing came loose, nothing is marked or damaged.
But I have to do some more quick trailer repairs now and reload the treasure now for the CD10 leg of the mission.
So I will be back to the forum and this thread then. Thanks to everyone, catch up then :)

Bugger. Well be waiting for you mick. Just drive safely mate :)

All good Simo. I have full premium road side assist. Which means worst case senatio they will rescue the trailer as well as Saphy. I am taking it easy. Hopfully grab a pump and coolant at a SuperCheap in morning and change it at Woodstock. If it lasts till then.
