Suzuki should have kept its CCI oil injection system. Let those who want to race remove it and premix, but at least give us the choice.

Any jap water-coled big bore 2T enduro.

Definitely agree on the PEs. It's a shame that the Japanese manufacturers seem to lose interest in categories - they lost interest in proper enduro bikes in the early~mid 1980s, and they're doing it again now.

Suzuki should have injected their PE single shock range. They could call it the PIE Floater.

In about 79 or 80, Maico had a prototype four stroke.  It was based on a two stroke bottom end.  I think someone else did the same thing later.

I have got some photos I'll try to put on OZVMX facebook.

I succeeded https://www.facebook.com/groups/OzVMX/ (https://www.facebook.com/groups/OzVMX/)
