RIP Doc - An Aussie Music legend

Rip Doc...A true legend of Aussie rock. I saw the Angels every chance I could in the 80's and like you Worms, I was at Narara in 83' and The Angels were by far the best of the best on the night. Rock on Shadow Boxer.....

did the infamous Narara festival ever get released on VHS, Vinyl or better still CD, or DVD ?

The music scene in Wollongong in the 70's was hot. Different local venue every night of the week with such luminaries as Chisel, Rose Tattoo, Dragon, Dave Warner, Mother Goose and Split Ends to mention a few, but these were all blown out of the water by Doc and the Brewster boys. Never missed a show and everyone got that would up we were always bluing in the carpark afterwards - friend or foe, didn't matter. Bit different then though, no knives, no head kicks and no gangs of MEA....

Got to see the great man a couple of years ago. Past his best but it did'nt matter a toss. Had the crowd eating out of his hands. Will not be forgotten. J
