has anyone here had experience removing the baffle plate in the guts of the pipe, fair chance
mine is blocked up. thanks reg

Would a PE have baffles in the main pipe? I would have thought it just had mesh around the inner wall? I never had one open so don't know.

FWIW. No baffle plate or restrictors in a 185 pipe apart from the removable baffle at the end
.cant see why one would be in a pe as it would play havoc with the waves in the chamber wouldnt it?

I believe the 78 has baffles. Should be able to make out where it's welded from the outside....
-
from memory the baffles were spot welded in so look for those before cutting

Tuff to remove, I found it much easier to cut out a section containing the restrictor, so you can get at it from both sides. It's very robust :)

lot of flucken around, get a rm125 with stuffed header pipe cut it off weld yours on at the factory join,a lot less welding and mucking around and looks 10 times better ;)

Dare I say it, is that an RM125B optional alloy swingarm on the PE? Oh, and RM125B forks & rear shocks.
That pic was taken at this years Bonanza.
