Trouble with some of these road rules is common sense has gone out of favour. :-X
Allowing motorcycles to lane filter is not going to help with congestion one little bit. Motorcycles and cars mingling at 20-30ks an hour within inches of each other will always be a recipe for disaster. :'(
A policeman who books someone for stretching his legs is a nong and that law needs to go. :-*
Likewise a policeman who books someone for taking their hands off the handlebars while sitting at the lights should have instead been a Lawyer if he wants to apply such a stupid road rule to the enth degree. >:(
Road rules should be applied equally and sensibly to all road users regardless of what you are operating. ;)
And lastly how many politicians/bureaucrats would have 30-40 years solid riding experience that might assist them to make well judged statements/changes or adjustments to the current motorcycle road laws? :o
