The meeting at Gloucester was a blast with 107 riders signing on for the weekends fun.
We now move on to one of our traditional meetings. The Crawford River Classic on the grass track at Bulahdelah. This is the long standing Pre65, Pre70, Pre75, Pre78 perpetual trophy events.
All classes from Pre65 to Pre85 will have two days of action.
This is also round 2 of the Roy East Series for Pre65 & Pre70 machines
You can find the flyer and entry form here

One week to close of entries - get them in please
-
Working bee yesterday. About 8 people present, lots of work done. Toilets cleaned, fire wood chopped up, pits cleand up, track slashed or should I say mowed, fences attended.
Will be using the grass track which is in realy good nick. Thanks to all those who helped, thanks heaps.
Now only one thing left is for you to enter. On the day entries just make more work.
See you there.

Entries are starting rush in. Remember that at recent meetings some grids (EVO & Pre85 all powers) have been full so don't leave it to enter on the day.
As Noel pointed out in another thread this is also round 2 of the Roy East Series for Pre65 & Pre70 bikes. Gloucester had a good grid of Pre70s and another two new Pre65s we just need to get all the Pre65s to enter consistently to make solid grids at every round.
-
few more days only for pre entries ;)
get them in please
-
Good to see the water has arrived, might save Noel a few hours in the water truck next weekend...........
Looking forward to a few camp fire stories and a couple of fizzy drinks with friends........
Oh the racing is always good too.....
:)

No Sat evening meal. Just bring more piss Ek ;D
-
Cheers Ted that's all I need ;)

With 65mm of rain in the last week, what is the report on the track?? Is it going to be a quagmire on the grasstrack and moved up to the mx track? The forcast isn't looking too bad for the rest of the week (fingers crossed)!!
-
If the water keeps falling from the sky it could look a bit like it did a few years back on the grass track. Very slippery and not a whole lot of fun for those of us who don't like the mud.

46mm at Crawford weatherstation over last 6 days mostly last saturday
http://www.weatherzone.com.au/station.jsp?lt=site&lc=60099&list=rb
The forecast is not perfect but you need to be careful as most forecasts are for Forster or Williamtown not actually Bulahdelah I have found this one closer to actual
http://www.weather-forecast.com/locations/Bulahdelah/forecasts/latest
The most worrying is the proximity of the water table to the surface of the track in the lower section of the grass track.
We have, in the words of Baldrick from Black Adder, a cunning and devious plan ;) ;D :P :P which could possibly involve the MX track.
-
We are so fortunate that we can utilise the never ending scenarios that this Megaplex offers us.
I have booked the penthouse suite in the Scrivo wing to take full advantage of the proceedings.
I take it the Lions Club will be doing room service 8)
-
Bring on the mud :)
The great equaliser ;D
-
That 2010 was the best crc event all u water haters :o need to take off your skirt and put on your wet weather gear and that so called mx track look in bad shape at the vinduro event . I agree with Paul bring it on vote 1 grass track ;)
-
Ted your booked into the 'lost my spark' memorial suite I'll be staying in the 'Forked' suite :-[ :P.
Make sure you have Hayden's guardian authority all filled in correctly otherwise he'll be pissed because there is nought we can do about it once there. ;)

Just like to thank all who organised, promoted, helped and participated in this event over the weekend.
The track was as good as it could have been, but the atmosphere continued to make the difference. :)
I didn't even get the KTM off the trailer, XR did the job, just got to take a day off work to clean it now though.... ???
Thanks to Bob and Noel and Justin for their plumbing skills....above and beyond the call of duty I would have to say!
Roll on Cessnock, great track under most conditions, hope they tame down a couple of sections for us but should be great.
Regards
Tim ;)

I wish I could have made it, but I have just traveled 2817 kilometers in 3.5 days, a third of it through rain, mist and/or fog. And a giant torrential lightning storm through Melbourne with a trailer full of Step-toe & Son crap for Queenslanders
Any how, how was it??
A kilometer and a half of mud?
or a Kilometer and a half of slop?
Or was it just a kilometer and a half of Squoggmiar?? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Any Pics ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
