There's some nice looking 490s, but very few of them are Evo legal in Australia.  Although the way the Commission is heading they may be legal soon.

What does everyone think about modern (Pre 90 up) flat slide carbys for Evo

MoMS : Period flat side and any round slide carburettors can be used in Evo

As Evo has no era or period any flat side carburettor can be used and deemed legal.

Thanks Ted that is what I was thinking too and after seeing at least three go through eligibility scrutineering at Toowoomba FTW.

Reggie gave me a keihin carby off a KX500 several years ago so I might give it a try. The jetting should even be in the ball park.  He also gave me an FMF muffler as well.

Has anyone got a set of white power upside down forks with TLS drum brakes off a 84 KTM I might as well go the whole way.  I had a KTM 600 in 84 with TLS from and rear.

I might even try a hydraulic clutch lever ass.  All magura controls are OEM, Maico came with magura standard so anything made by magura should be legal.
