Title: SoCal Vintage MX Classic 5, June 7, - UPDATED

Scott Burnworth contacted me, I'm riding at the 'SoCal Vintage MX Classic 5' at Glen Helen on June 7, a very generous ozvmx Forum member has offered me a CR480RD to ride.  Is anyone else going over for it?

That will be an awesome experience John. Lucky man. Don't forget to take heaps of photo's and ride with a GoPro video....

John Kemp and I rode there at Glen Helen a few years ago, you'll have a blast.

Did not realise it was on... I will be in New Mexico at that time... should have planned to drop in to see it.. Dammm!! >:(

It's getting close, man am I excited !!!  I wonder if I can dig up a pic of the CR480 I'm riding?  ;-)

Wow awesome event, entered in 3 classes (6 races), l missed one race as some were back-to-back and l couldn`t get back to the line in time.. Tahition red (Jay)`s CR480 was a rocket ! Holeshot 3 races without being first out the gate.

Best finishes for the day a 2nd and a 3rd, got caught in anothers crash and was late for a start due another back-to-back start.

Huge thanks to Jay, driving 8 hours to let me ride his bike, and treating me like a factory rider, he even swept my concrete launch pad !

Coming down those Glen Helen hills with drum brakes put my interpretation of scared on a whole new level lol.
