With it being winter here  (NZ) and no racing, its time for projects etc.
I'm rebuilding me RM125E which has a lunched engine, plus hoping to start work on my RM250D.I am a Pre 85 tragic.

TM185

Brent

TM-S 185 seems we will have similar beasts Brent  ;D, although I intend to fit a speedo/preston petty headlight/taillight for vinduro duties and since it will be pre-compliance (Dec 74) I might try to get it road rego in W.A too  ;D ;D ;D

SNAP!

Doing much the same CG. Vinduro bike with lights and maybe a pre 75 VMX 250 ride as well.
I remember just how versitile mine was back in 75-76.
I'm starting out with a TC185 motor but I may have found a tidy but siezed TS185L here in town. Needless to say I'm working on that one!

Cheers

Brent

Bolting Dodgee's TM250 motor back in after welding the big end together at Coff's in April  ::) she should be  together by tonight sometime  ;)

Waiting to get my crank back for the 125A/B/C then it can be bolted together and finished off.

Pulled the motor out of the '71 TS125 for some cluster swapping and a big end rebuild.

Refitted a '77 TS125 in it's place last weekend. Bolted on a fresh RM125S top end and she's ready to ride whilst I sort the original engine to keep it back in pre'75 where it belongs  ;)

Awaiting a TM125 frame into which I plan on fitting an RM400. 'If' it's a definate no go I'll get the '77 TS125 ratios sorted and refit that instead ;)

I have a TS/TM250 project to build after this and an RL to have rebored as well as a couple of RM400 wheels needing shiney new spokes so as I can relace them..

By this time I should have some more parts for the little SL100. It's going to have a bit of an engine freshen up, cam chain/tens/guide/cam sprockets/piston/rings/valves/guides/springs bla bla bla etc etc...nothing over the top though

After this I'd really like to go to town on the old '69 TS250. mudcatchers, downpipe, TM top end and carb, fabricate an airbox and nice seat and fit a pair of trials universals  ;D

there is more but this lot should see me through winter  :D

Might quit them  ;).. I have some leads on few bits for the 125B and if they pan out will complete that bike. I have also recently found another 125A and a 125S or M.. I dont have them but know where they are. ;) All of the 125's are basicly parts bikes part with a little mix and match. Hey Presto...  ;D

At moment the two important most zooks to complete is the Zookmah RM370/XT500 Hybrid and the RM250B...

Drm    400 MK 1    awaiting on Suzuki answer to why the oil  rings won't fit  ???

Tm      250          Farmed this job out as I have way too much on at the moment  ;)
Pe       400          New piston rings and rebore  tidy up for Conondale for me Bro  to have a thrash on
Dr       500 Plus      still sitting on the Bike bench patiently awaiting wheels to be fitted ( no hurry )

As you can see way too happening at the same time and nothing finished

74 TM185L - Very low mileage bike mostly in need of just a cosmetic resto. Don't know how anal I'll get with it yet, but it will definitely be a proper "nice bike", not just a clean up and tart up(like most of mine are...). Mechanically, it needs an engine freshen-up, but not much more.

73 TC100. Get the thing running and ride it. This will be the CD6 pit bike.

Not that it would be a project bike, but I've also got my eye on a very nice original TS125 (which I assume is an L as it has the same cosmetics as my 185). Be a nice partner to the 185 if I can get it for not-too-much money.

Just got an '81' RM125X last week, rough but complete. Skirt has broken off the cylinder but otherwise a reasonable starting point.
I raced Rm's from 1980-1990, this is the first one I've had since then and loved the 81 125 when it came out., but I was 13 and still cutting my teeth on an RM80X at the time. Will get some progress shot up when I finally make a start on it. ;D

After starting on a KX80B, then a YZ125H then K when I was a kid I am finally onto Suzuki's.Have a 125X which I restored a few years back and a 125B,both which I race and am working on.Just finished restoring a 83 RM 500 D which was a big ebay mistake and can't get started.Maybe my right leg isn't as big as Arnie's or I am just used to the small bores.
