This seller is David Collins, son of the late (I cant remember :-\) .....Collins who owned Yamwreck once upon a time, David mostly makes his bread by buying late model crashed sports bikes from auctions and on selling them but he (and possibly siblings)  also lucky enough to have been left pretty much all of his fathers bikes which from what I'm told is an enormous collection including some very collectable yz's and Hodakas, some say there is still thousands of nos Yamaha and hodaka parts in their posession and possibly even NOS bikes, all here in Vic!!  Just call him and have a chat, from my experience he's a gentleman to deal with and won't fill you full of bs.

Cheers, Brendan

No-one is buying that bike with black rims, instant de-value & turn off. Might be ok if you're planning on owning a bike forever to run with black rims, but a big killer to actually having a chance of selling them.

Hmm is that why my CZ's haven't sold .. it's not the economy that's to blame .. it's those ugly black rims :)

Bit pricey in the market today I think, black rims don't make any difference if you want the bike you want the bike , what a crock....

its a classic fail in trying to make an older bike look "cool and hip" like the current crop of brapping 4fitty's... same as putting 20 inch rims on a HK holden.. ffsake!!

Just my opinion but if you want to sell them, keep them close to standard looking. More buyers to attract rather than searching for the one with your tastes. Each to their own though.

Bruce Collins of Yamwreck.  Not to be confused with Bruce Collins of Bruce Collins Motorcycle parts enterprises.

RIP mate.
