Bidding was up to 349, now back to 127 - what's going on ??
-
some one must off retracted there bid
-
Two people retracted their bids, I also hear he has two more of them to go on ebay after this one
-
I WONDER IF THE NEXT ONES HAVE HIGH RESERVES
-
The BIG problem with 125's is that it is very easy to over capitalise, you can spend a bundle and never get it back, un like 250's and big bores
-
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN .AND PEOPLE IN THE KNOW WITH THE NOS PARTS ARE SITTING PREETY .I SUPPOSE NOW IT GOES FOR ALL BRANDS TOO .WERE DO YOU DRAW THE LINE ,YOU START A PROJECT THEN YOU GET STUCK ON A PITICULAR BIT/PART AFTER A MONTH LOOKING FOR IT YOU WILL PAY TOP DOLLAR JUST SO YOU CAN GET RID OFF THE RESTO MIGRANE THAT YOU HAVE DEVELOPED LOOKING FOR IT
-
Yeah,
Depends what you are going to do with it I suppose. I'm not sure you would ever get your money back on a resto - unless you are very careful. I'm doing mine up to keep, so I suppose it is up to the individual how much they spend on these things. I totally agree that waiting for a particular part ends up frustrating you and you get the shits and just pay whatever is needed. Over the time I have realised what Quicky once told me. There will always be another one that comes along, so be patient ;).
As an aside I have found that particular seller very good. He must have big shed full of stuff - the lucky bugger 8).
-
Nothing on god's green earth was going to stop THAT from happening... ;D
-
hi yz250h...ive been in that shed a few times and yes it is something like a dream...just nos stuff everywhere.....last time i was there i seen two yz250h tanks untouched brand new.... :o
-
Thanks Adam

Thats a great resto Scott. :o :o :)

Can't wait 'till he sells the 250 tanks Andrew. All I have to do is organise a second mortgage on the house and I'll be ready for it ;D ;D
-
I saw a used YZ 250 H tank in my travels today, is white, has no stickers on it and a small scratch on the right lower front. Should i ask the fella how much ? i think he has it in bits all over the shed or whats left of it after they wrecked IT, was other plastics and parts from what i could see and they had the YZ 125 and 250H written on them.
-
Sound him out Freaky - see if he wants to sell any of it. Looking for a good airbox and the opaque mudguard that goes over the top.
-
this guy will sell all and anything of it but you'll pay the same as a wreckers. most of it wil be there as he has a few pre 85 in his salvage corner and in boxes. I would say no on the translucent stuff, but engine bits, electrics side covers and stuff a wrecker would keep would be in there as thats what he used to do, when he closed up shop he just took it all home and hung it up or chucked it in a marked crate.
-
Thanks Freaky,
I'll take stock of what I need and let you know. Always looking for a decent airbox with all the bits attached so .......
