Anybody out there happen to have (or know where I can get) a spare airbox for a 1980 YZ125G (including the cage etc)???

Top cover??? What does that look like? Have you got a pic you can send please. I am starting to think that the one in my G is from something else  :(

When I get home, yes.
Its an ugly thing, made of slightly stiffer/more brittle plastic than the airbox itself. Sort of does the shock mudflap thing too, IIRC.

I have the outer plastic air box as per the pics but not the metal housing bracket that is rivetted inside the box nor do I have the air filter cage itself. So thats what I need rather than the outer assembly.

I was thinking of making a metal replica of my standard cage out of the good old number 9 fencing wire. I've seen that done before with hard to get filter cages so if you can't find one maybe you could do that as well?

Just so you know IT 175g air box is the same and are more plentiful

If you still have that YZ125G part from the top of the air box, then yes please, I'll have it becasue the one I have has been butchered & not original, thx  ;)
